We love this motel. It's perfect for what we need when we visit Gettysburg, which is a place to sleep, shower, and regroup. Located downtown so it's an easy walk to shopping, restaurants, and the battlefield. The staff is always very nice and helpful.
Awesome place. It's in the heart of main attractions, most of which you can walk to Have stayed there before. Never disappointed because you can leave your car there and not have to worry about finding g and paying for parking. Rooms are a little dated but as long as they are clean who cares? Management and her husband are awesome to work with. Not your your typical 4 star hotel like the higher end ones. But if you want the convenience of location then this is for you. If your expecting ambiance then find somewhere else. For me it was perfect. Martin J. Escobedo
Located close to the Gettysburg battlefield. A relatively inexpensive lodging for anyone looking to stay for the night. They have a microwave and small refrigerator for each room. A good stop for those looking to survey the landmark for a trip.
Ok too start my review off you get what you pay for. This place is located right in Gettysburg. Very close too the fields and cemetery. The price is amazing you can't beat it. I also like supporting small businesses. Yes the rooms are extremely outdated. They do not have microwaves or coffee machines in them. The walls are old & have funky paint jobs,holes in the headboards,old tvs that only get some channels. The bathroom window is pretty shoddy and I don't think it opens. The beds are hard and covered in plastic. The light outside the window at night kinda shines all around the curtain in room. Leaving the room slightly illuminated all night. We also found a empty can and a old diabetic testing strip behind our TV stand.The pool looked dirty and I personally wouldn't swim in it. Would I let my kids get in and swim if I brung them . Sure why not kids don't care. Given all that the hotel bathroom appeared clean. I checked for bed bugs and found none. I would definitely recommend staying here. Like I said previously you get what you pay for. This isn't no Ritz. We came here too site see. We didn't spend much time in our room. Also with all the money we saved in lodging we had that much more too spend on shopping and dinning out, museums & whatever else. All pros in my book. The office has a microwave you can use and free hot coffee. If you go to the office early enough in the am they have complimentary muffins and honeys buns .
Been here twice for a one bed, always very clean. Very pleasant owner(staff) at the office. Rooms are good for travelers for sure! They have Wifi, heat, AC. Along with supplies as in Ice cubes shampoo an soap, TP, etc Tv is kind of small, no phone in rooms and the second time visiting we had a microwave that was broken (not a big deal) a great place to stay for travelers!! Really enjoy it here!! Will be returning soon!
Why this place doesn't have 5 stars is beyond me. It's an old place but has necessary modern updates. Kim (in the office) is a phenomenal person! Helped out when I was stressed beyond belief! It's small but comforting, it's welcoming & its quiet. Couldn't ask for more! Breakfast & coffee in the morning with no hassle? Yes please!
Located on the outskirts of downtown gettysburg, it was easy to get out to check out the battlefield on an extremely busy weekend. Wasn't happy that my price on reservation was 62$ and jumped to 130$ on arrival.
Location is prime as you can walk to everything. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The rooms are acceptable especially because of the location, but are very dated. 1970's. They are clean as are the sheets. What more can you ask for. I paid $109. for one night which i guess is reasonable because of the location otherwise this room should not be more that $65 to $80 a night. Air condition worked great. Had Xfinity TV service. The only con is the toilet. It is child size, low to the ground and a very small diameter. Not good for obese people or the elderly who may need help getting off the toilet. Would I stay again, absolutely !
